Yo, finally checking back in ... lots of good/interesting photos of parks from around the country!
Here's a bit of background on the photo of the Park at the Park at Petco ...
First, I took the photo about a month before they unveiled a new statue of Tony Gwynn ... this is "Tony"s view of Petco :-)
Second, the large green wall you see is the back of the "batter's eye" in dead center-field ... it has a jumbotron on it and the Padres sometimes have non-game events broadcast there (ex. Tony Gwynn's HOF induction ceremony). On top of that wall you can see the numbers that the Padres have retired (they are backwards in this picture since they are facing the fans inside the stadium).
I think you can get a game-day ticket for Park at the Park for $5 ... good deal :-)
